My coloring program is a clumsy version of what i suspect Adobe photoshop is. But it's fun and interesting to try to begin to try to figure out.

This strange thing is a collageish portrait of three paintings I did in the past. An attempt at digital collage. The hair is from a portrait I did of hemmingway, the right side is the talking heads guyand left side from a pic in the NYT a few years ago..

Postcards

I made these postcards to advertise my work, but they (the postcards) seem like graphic images from a different world.

I thought that my work seemed a little tame next to them-- even though they are my work.. just a little cut and pasted.

A few weeks ago I didn't know that these movies by Robert Bresson existed. Now, happily I've watched three. Pickpocket, The Diary of a Country Priest, and au Hasard Bathezar.

Puppets are fun! The drawing (colored pencil) is of four puppets in a story I told to my grandchildren. I made the dragon and the purple person. The photos of the three hand puppets (I made) are inspired by Steinberg. The three pantins (jumping jacks), all the rage in the court of Louis IVX, are inspired by Leger, Austin English and Fifties fashion illustration. is there such a word as sewn?

Doodles are, I guess, an expression, when one's mind or attention is occupied with something else. Then does (?) the mind go on uncensored or unchecked into doodling- the auto-pilot genre of art? At any rate, doodles interest me.
I found this one, from I don't know when, during a cleaning up of papers moment.
